Belgian mega-festival Tomorrowland has finished the drip-feed of artists and stages in its 2016 first phase announcement, adding a further two stages and eight big names to the heavyweight roster already announced.
Tomorrowland Announces a Legendary Second Act on its 2015 Line-Up
Some days ago Tomorrowland, announced the first act on its 2015 line-up. You’d be forgiven for expecting the likes of Hardwell or Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, but instead the first piece of a giant puzzle turned out to be The National Orchestra of Belgium.
On Saturday, July 25, Tomorrowland’s stomping grounds in Boom, Belgium will welcome German don Sven Väth, who will lead a special Cocoon showcase on the festival’s ‘Vinyl Only’ stage. While Väth is the stage’s only name revealed so far, you can expect the label boss to be surrounded by his ‘musical family’ for a marathon of house and techno.
As one of techno’s unstoppable trailblazers, Väth needs little introduction. The last 12 months have been a typical whirlwind for the DJ, with another sell-out season at Cocoon in Ibiza, sets at clubs across the world, and a 50th birthday blowout that brought thousands of revelers to the cavernous Maimarktgelände in Germany.
