The First Act Announced For Tomorrowland 2015 Is…

The world-renowned festival Tomorrowland is returning to Boom, Belgium on Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July, and you can expect another all-star cast of dance names to be there.

ID&T, the powerhouse behind the festival, promised to unveil the first name on the line-up today – and they’ve delivered on their word. This time, though, it’s not a Tomorrowland regular like Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Hardwell or Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike we’re hearing about first.

The first announcement is, in fact, The National Orchestra of Belgium. For the first time at Tomorrowland, the orchestra will “curate a unique atmosphere” on Sunday at the Opera Stage, presumably in collaboration with some electronic talent. (The tagline is, after all, “one musical world, where two genres merge.”) Consider us intrigued by this direction. There’s a video below to tease what it’s all about.

Aside from the Boom weekender, 2015 is set to be a defining year for the Tomorrowland festival juggernaut. On 1-3 May, the ID&T team will roll into São Paulo for the first edition of Tomorrowland Brazil, and general release tickets have already disappeared. America’s own TomorrowWorld is also set to return to Atlanta, Georgia on the weekend of 25-27 September.
