Deadmau5 Collabs With Video Game, Surprises Fans With New Music

Deadmau5 surprised his millions of fans by dropping brand new music this week.

The Canadian producerreleased a collection of tracks he's dubbed the dieback music pack which serve as a soundtrack for the multiplayer online battle arena video game Dota 2. The mau5trap boss has been giving his marketing team some time off these days, opting to silently drop the string of new material for fans to discover without an official announcement.

The set contains several pieces of unreleased music that explore a classic deadmau5 sound, meaning lots of minimal four-on-the-floor house beats, cinematic atmospheres and simple synthlines to get you in the mood for some gaming action.
