MasterClass, an online education platform designed to give aspiring artists and creatives the opportunity to learn from top-of-the-line talent, has just announced Deadmau5 as its latest instructor for electronic music.
Deadmau5 and Aaron Carter Will Soon Face Off in a Video-Game Battle
Deadmau5 and Aaron Carter are set to settle some differences by playing a video game. The two will square off in a battle via the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO).
According to arrangements proposed by Deadmau5: winner gets remix rights, loser cleans winners house.
It all started when Aaron Carter posted a video on Instagram. The quick clip shows the singer jamming to a familiar beat in his home studio. At first the singer did not caption the post and Deamau5 fans began calling Carter out for using the EDM producer’s 2012 track “The Veldt.”
Soon — as happens when the Internet takes control — Deadmau5 was alerted to Carter’s doings by his fans.
Then Deadmau5 challenged Carter to a video-game battle (Counter-Strike: Global Offensive; aim_map in CS:GO), Carter agreed.
Later Carter simply tweeted that he was going to meet up with his brother Nice in the studio and Deadmau5 replied with, “you dont have time for that s–t. better get on CS and get practicing. you have less than a week.”
Later they will select and announce the date of their fight. Naturally, to be broadcast on Twitch!
