The Second Biggest Crowd in Coachella History from Calvin Harris

Calvin Harris

If you were in any doubt as to whether Coachella 2014 belonged to the dance or rock acts, then Calvin Harris’s Sunday night set put all arguments to rest.

While Arcade Fire closed the festival (in competition with Disclosure), the biggest crowd of the festival went to Harris; “the 2nd biggest crowd in Coachella history today…” Harris later posted to Facebook.

Of course, Calvin Harris wasn’t the only dance act to slay at Coachella 2014: Skrillex debuted his new stage set-up with debut album Recess front and centre, while Dillon Francis delivered a set of house party jams to the monster-sized crowd. Stay tuned for live sets to come from the likes of Zedd, Fatboy Slim and Martin Garrix.

But the festival belonged to Calvin Harris, who followed in the footsteps of Tiesto, The Chemical Brothers and Swedish House Mafia to lead Coachella’s biggest dance-off.
