Pioneer CDJ-2000Nexus designed by Rukes

Drew Ressler aka Rukes has partnered up with Pioneer to create a custom CDJ-2000 nexus to be auctioned off for non-profit. The deck is covered in Rukes’ work and proceeds of the auction will go to VH1 Save The Music Foundation. Take a look at the sick design below. You can bid on the deck.

Drew Ressler aka Rukes is considered the #1 DJ photographer in the world (named #1 in the “Greatest Music Photographers Right Now” poll by Complex). With natural talent and a lot of practice, he’s been lucky enough to photograph the biggest EDM artists, events and festivals around the globe!

Rukes
After moving to LA, he began honing his skills and upgrading his equipment throughout 2004-2005. In 2006 he quit his “real job” to focus on photography, working for Avalon, Giant and Insomniac. His hard work paid off when he landed his first tour with Deadmau5 in 2009.

From that point on, Rukes hasn’t stopped and can now be found jetting around the world with Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Skrillex or the next big musician! His Photos have been published by Rolling Stone, Spin, Vanity Fair, Q, MTV, LA Times, Forbes, Elektro, DJ Mag, US Weekly and USA Today just to name a few!

His worldwide client list includes Deadmau5, Swdish House Mafia (as well as each member Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello), Calvin Harris, Avicii, Zedd, Skrillex, Porter Robinson, Tommy Lee, Alesso, Steve Aoki, Madeon, Dirty South, Dada Life, Bassnectar, Sub Focus, Wolfgang Gartner, Nero and many more!
