Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas

So as many of you guys know, Insomniac Events has been working hard in setting up the production the past couple of days for this years Electric Daisy Carnival at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

There hasn’t really been much information given to the public about what we could expect within this years setups or how they will look but we have been provided with information that includes news stating that the scaffolding system this year for the event is the largest scaffolding system in the entire history within the country in the entertainment industry along with it being the second largest in general for any scaffolding system behind the scaffolding system that was used to repair the Statue Of Liberty in New York… In addition, it has been reported that this year main stage will be much bigger than last years size. This information is sure to excite many fans now that there is only 8 days left for the big 3 day massive music festival. The past couple of days, Insomniac Events founder, Pasquale Rotella, along with other Insomniac staff, have shared some photos of the scaffolding systems being used in what we believe is to be the main stage and it looks MASSIVE. We believe that Pasquale at this point now though has asked for the photos to stop as there is more and more progress being made to complete the setups which of course he would like to leave it as a surprise for when we all arrive next Friday night. You can check out some of the photos they have provided us already for the meantime below.

Five reasons EDC Las Vegas 2013 is its best year ever

Pasquale Rotella’s Electric Daisy Carnival has outdone itself yet again for its third year at the Las Vegas Speedway, featuring a litany of improvements that further establish EDC Las Vegas as America’s Raver mecca. A carnival in the most traditional sense, Rotella has created a fever-dream inspired fantasy world in the middle of the Nevada desert. There is nothing quite like it in terms of scale and scope and this year the festival grounds saw significant expansion, some much needed layout adjustments, improved transportation and a Kinetic Field that was nearly three times larger than its 2012 counterpart.

Insomniac’s $35 Million Production Investment Pays Off

At 5:30 Monday morning, Dash Berlin was winding up his set. As he finished, the Insomniac owl closed it’s wings, and the lights came down on one of the most intricate and astounding stages to date. This year, Insomniac Events poured $35 million into production costs alone. It was an astounding number to say the least but those of us “headliners” lucky enough to attend can attest that it was most definitely spent wisely.

BPM Recaps EDC Day 3

BPM Recaps EDC Day 3

The final day of edc came to a close, the sets were finished, the artists were on to their next gig, and Las Vegas had become raver-less. It was a weekend of epic proportion with all of the biggest names in dance music gracing the Las Vegas speedway and its revelers with their talent. The sea of people were awash in everything you can imagine, from Trap to Hard Style to Progressive House to Electro and every deviation in between. We’re sad to see it go, but our bodies couldn’t be happier. I’ll recap all the festivities that we experienced first hand now that we’re not sweating (woo!) on the track.

Pasquale Rotella About a New Experience

I remember the moment I fell in love with this culture. My friends Seth, Sear and AM took me to my first underground party at a warehouse in downtown L.A. We were surrounded by so many different people from so many different walks of life, all grooving to one perfect beat.
