Sunday August 14, 2005 – a magical date in the history of the Kingdom of Belgium, known throughout the ages for its beer, chocolate, waffles, cobblestones, diamonds, poorly named French fries, instant legendary World Cup soccer match against the United States of America, mussels from Ostend and of course muscles from – Jean-Claude Van Damme, everybody! – Brussels.
Tomorrowland Announces Its Huge 2014 Live Stream
For the next two weekends, the town of Boom, Belgium will be the window to the dance world, as fans unite for Tomorrowland. The world-renowned music festival is celebrating 10 years of success by doubling up and going two weekends instead of one; meaning twice the number of exhilarating sets from artists, and twice the FOMO* for those stuck at home.
But even those who cannot attend the overseas event can still join in on the madness. Earlier today, organizers announced that they will be once again live-streaming the event – which kicks off this weekend (July 18-20) – on Tomorrowland TV as well as on the Tomorrowland Radio show, both of which can be found on the festival’s official website.
The radio broadcast will be non-stop, while the video streaming will happen each day from 9pm till 2am, Central European Summer Time. So, for US viewers, it all begins on Friday, July 18 at 3pm EDT/12pm midday PDT.
With line-up and set times long out for our perusing pleasure, we can already predict the energy in Boom will be madness. Eagle-eyed fans will notice Eric Prydz is tasked with opening the main stage on both Fridays with a special three-hour set, while on Saturday Hardwell and Tiësto will be going back-to-back for 30 minutes to close (after their own solo sets, of course).
Meanwhile, Laidback Luke will host his Super You&Me arena; Mad Decent’s stage promises the final volley of Flosstradamus, Dillon Francis, DJ Snake and Diplo; Carl Cox & Friends will power through big-room techno, and so much more. As well as that Hardwell and Tiësto tag-team, the main stage’s leading attractions include Armin van Buuren, Knife Party, Steve Aoki and Steve Angello. At Tomorrowland, there’s no such thing as downtime.
The Tomorrowland TV and radio broadcasts will air live from 9pm – 2am CEST each day of the festival. Head on over here to check out the action.

*Fear of missing out or FOMO is a form of social anxiety — a compulsive concern that one might miss an opportunity for social interaction, a novel experience, profitable investment or other satisfying event. This is especially associated with modern technologies such as mobile phones and social networking services such as Facebook and LinkedIn, which provide constant opportunity for comparison of one's status. The increased use of online social networks is leading to an Internet addiction. This psychological dependence on being online results in anxiety when one feels disconnected leading to a fear of missing out.
