Over 100,000 people participated in the voting of this year’s Bottom 100 DJ List, which recently released its results. There’s a few surprise names, and all the usual suspects.
Dj Mag Reveal Their Top 100 Clubs For 2015
Once more in 2015, Brazil’s Green Valley has been crowned the world’s #1 club in DJ Mag’s annual poll of the world’s best nightspots.
The Camboriu venue reclaimed the top spot from White Isle jewel Space Ibiza, continuing the tug-of-war for the top spot the two clubs have been for the last four years (“this poll has been something of a two-horse race,” DJ Mag concede). Space Ibiza came in at #2.
Staking their claim as America’s best place to party, Vegas superclub Hakkasan has soared seven spots to come in third, thanks in part to their big name residencies from the likes of Calvin Harris, Tiesto and Steve Aoki. Two more Ibiza destinations – Pacha Ibiza and Amnesia – round out the top five.
Once more in 2015, no Australian club has ranked anywhere in DJ Mag’s poll. But a little closer to home, two venues represent Asia in this year’s top 10 – South Korean club Octagon at #6 and Zouk Singapore at #7. Infamous Berlin nightspot Berghain polled at #13, London’s Fabric came in at #15 and The Warehouse Project re-entered the list at #10.
The highest ranking new entry in 2015 went to LiFE in Las Vegas, debuting in the list at #21. Noa Beach Club in Croatia – where those wild Spring Break parties are held – also debuted on the list, coming in at #37.
