The Country music world and the EDM community are becoming rather friendly. It started with Zedd teaming up with Lady Antebellum on a performance for the recent CMT awards. Now Nile Rodgers and country superstar Keith Urban are taking on the combo of the two opposing genres as they work on a new collaborative number.
Bono performs Duft Punk’s “Get Lucky”
Daft Punk's 'Get Lucky' received an unlikely cover this weekend, with U2's Bono and The Edge teaming up with Nile Rodgers.
Although, as expected, the cover wasn't as finely polished as the French duo's original version, it was intended for a worthwhile and generous cause.
The three took it upon themselves to perform the song at a special gig for Bono's Red charity, shortly after an auction raised £16 million in the fight against AIDS.
'Get Lucky' wasn't the only track to receive a going over as Lou Reed's 'Perfect Day' and David Bowie's Rodgers-produced 'Let's Dance'.
