Avicii sets another record
Wake Me Up, the new single of Avicii, has reached the number 1 spot in the UK charts. It is also the fastest selling track this year, beating Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke and Pharell. It sold nearly 267.000 copies in only a week, compared to 76.000 copies of Blurred Lines.
Wake Me Up isn't the first track of Avicii to top the charts, in february this year I Could Be The One reached the number 1 spot. Avicii had two other top five tracks in 2011, with Levels and Collide (ft. Leona Lewis).
Who would have thought Wake Me Up would be this succesful after all the criticism during Avicii's set at Ultra Music Festival Miami earlier this year?
