57th Annual Grammy Awards – Tiesto, Aphex Twin And Clean Bandit

The 57th Annual Grammy Awards, honoring the best in music, were held on February 8, 2015, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Dance music this year was awarded three categories: Best Remixed Recording, Best Dance / Electronic Album and Best Dance Recording.

The first Dance/Electronic winner in the 57th Grammy Awards has just been announced during the pre-telecast awards ceremony at LA’s Nokia Theater. That winner is none other than Dutch don Tiësto, who has scored his first-ever Grammy in the ‘Best Remixed Recording’ category. Tiesto won the first Grammy of his career after his remix of John Legend‘s ‘All of Me‘.

Aphex Twin has won the best dance/electronic album at the 2015 Grammys for his album Syro beating off competition from Deadmau5, Little Dragon, Royksopp & Robyn and Mat Zo.

Aphex Twin (real name Richard D James) has recently released an EP on Warp records and has also uploaded more than 150 demo tracks on his Soundcloud account.

Clean Bandit And Jess Glynne accept the GRAMMY for Best Dance Recording at the 57th Annual GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony on Feb. 9 in Los Angeles.
