The Coffee Run (The Deadmau5 project) has been a runaway success, getting substantial media coverage. It gives fans a rare glimpse to see how some of their favorite artists interact without a filter (but we all know the deadmau5 doesn’t have one). If you’re not familiar, deadmau5 has been making some pretty big waves with his “Coffee Run” series.
In Ferrari to get coffee
DJs, producers and music artists are very extravagant people. Only Deadmau5 (Joel Thomas Zimmerman) could come up with the idea to interview a massive artist like Zedd (Anton Zaslavski) in his Ferrari on the way to get coffee.
Jokes aside, it’s actually really interesting to see these two figureheads in Dance music be themselves, joke around, and talk about their lives/careers like normal people. That’s not to say that they don’t usually (especially deadmau5) but there is a certain curtain of professional sterility that is absent because these guys are friends and are being themselves. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what both these artists have going on in their lives in their own words.
