Previously unseen photos of legendary New York nightspot Studio 54 are to be published in a new book.
Simply titled Studio 54, the tome is the work of Swedish photographer Hasse Perrson and will offer a delicious glimpse in the hedonistic debauchery that went down at the club in the 70s and 80s.
Studio 54 was the world’s most famous and exalted discothèque. It opened in 1977 at 254 West 54th Street in New York City at a time when disco music was enjoying its frenetic peak. The establishment attracted the celebrities of the day and a carefully filtered mix of guests spreading their stardom.
