Deadmau5 and Eric Prydz went back to back before Ultra Music Festival even opened its doors, giving artists a huge bar to overcome later in the day.
Miami’s Biggest Clubs Ban Justin Bieber
If you’re looking for guidance on how to be popular in a nightclub, maybe don’t make Justin Bieber your mentor.
The vainglorious rascal has attracted his fair share of bad press in recent months after trying to get into a punch-up with respected prog DJ Michael Woods in a South Korean club, and then being arrested for DUI and drag racing after a night at Miami superclub SET. And it seems his hell-raising has come back to haunt him: TMZ reports that three of the biggest nightclubs on Miami’s South Beach – LIV, Story and Adoré – have refused to allow Bieber back in.
Last Friday night Bieber’s camp asked for reservations at all three clubs and promised to spend big on bottle service, but were comprehensively refused, with the sources citing Bieber’s bad behaviour.
The three clubs recently hosted some epic parties for Miami Music Week – including events with Laidback Luke, David Guetta and Steve Aoki at Story, Tiesto and Kaskade at LIV, and Morgan Page at Adoré – but it seems they bear no love for Biebs. Perhaps he should refer to our guide for DJs dealing with douchbaggery for tips on how to comport oneself in a nightclub.
