Amsterdam Dance Event, or ADE, has become a dance music staple not only as a festival to showcase some of the world’s biggest acts but also as an industry conference to meet up, talk shop, and sign deals.
Transmit Festival & Conference Aims To Revive Underground Dance Music
Springboard Tracks, a boutique music licensing company, is gearing up to bring Transmit+, an underground revival festival, to Detroit at the end of this month.
The event will span two days and will include performances from a number of underground DJs as well as a conference that will provide an open forum for music industry discussions.
The conference will kick off the event hosting discussions on the state of the music industry, making money in the music industry, and self promotion. The reception will take over in the evening with drinks and hors d'oeuvres, followed by a party hosted by the Detroit Institute of Music Education, and finally leading into the performances for the night. Shady P, .rar Kelly, Sinistarr and Superdre are all slated to take the stage and man the DJ decks.
