Hailing originally from Poland, Marcin Czubala trained extensively in classical music in the city of Poznan. Between 1991 and 1994 he performed in over 300 concerts, including collaborations with experimental music luminary Krzysztof Penderecki. Marcin then began branching out into the world of djing and electronic production, releasing his own productions on labels like Neue Heimat and Morris Audio. 2007 saw the start of a very productive period with Berlin label Mobilee, resulting in the release of numerous EPs and an album “Chronicle of Never”, kick starting his career as an international dj and culminating with the release of an ambitious mix CD for Mobilee “Back To Back Vol 5” mixing djing with live recording. In 2011, Marcin founded a new label Your Mama’s Friend that managed under just two releases to attract attention from djs as diverse as deep house luminary Jimpster or techno man-of-the-moment Deetron.
