Gary Richards, also affectionately known as Destructo, has played a crucial role in Dance Music’s growth, but up until this point, not so much as an artist. Gary is best known as the founder of HARD, the national event company responsible for such amazing shows as HARD Halloween, HARD Summer, and even the Dance Music cruise Holy Ship! Gary’s alter ego Destructo has been playing shows for just as long but on a much smaller scale. It wasn’t until the past two years that Destructo has started to find his own Tech House-Deep House voice that’s steadily setting him apart from everyone else. 

Gesaffelstein is a man in a world all unto his own. The French maestro exudes an air of IDGAF-ness that only makes him that much cooler. He plays techno, he’s an unabashed chain smoker, he dresses well, girls swoon over him, and his beats will make you sweat. “Pursuit” is no different, driving through a mercilessly slowed down 4/4 beat that chugs along at a pace that will get anyone wet. I already imagine the crazy techno club where this is blaring over massive speakers upon the clergy of clubgoers.

We’ve been wondering what was going to happen with Mandalay Bay’s newest creation The Light that was created with the help of the always amazing Cirque Du Soleil. While we didn’t get a chance to have some good old fashioned sin city fun during Memorial Day weekend, we do get a glimpse into one of the best new clubs on the strip. The party didn’t stop thanks to sets from Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and the Clarity master Zedd. Although the vid is far too short for my liking, it only makes all of us (when I say us I mean everyone I know) want to go that much more.

The time that every raver looks forward to is almost upon us. EDC Vegas is right around the corner and to make sure your excitement level is at the max they’ve now released the 2013 trailer. I don’t know if it’s as much a trailer (remember trailers are supposed to make you want to go to something, as if EDC even needs that) as it is a short movie of everything that’s great about EDC. Minus the obviously staged intro (do those people even know what PLUR means?), this is a great showing of what goes on for one very special weekend in Vegas.
