Bottom 100 DJs, Parody at DJ Mag Top 100

Despite widely being considered an irrelevant popularity contest, the DJ Mag Top 100 captivates the dance music community every year. DJs/producers campaign to get on the list because it raises their profile, resulting in higher booking fees.

Fans vote for a variety of reasons. Some vote because they want their favorite producer to get on the list. Others vote as a joke, filling in their five allotted slots with names like "Justin Bieber," "Paris Hilton," and "Pauly D." Well, someone has created a list that caters to fans who realize how big of a joke the DJ Mag Top 100 truly is.

Someone created a list titled "Bottom 100 DJs," and they asked people to enter their nominees at http://bottom100djs.com. The list is full of non-DJs, untalented DJs, and unpopular DJs who probably asked their friends to vote for them. On the surface, it looks like a joke of a list, but who's to say it isn't as legit as the DJ Mag Top 100? That list is completely voted on by fans as well. Deadmau5 ended up as the winner of the contest.
