DJ Awards can finally confirm the 2014 Categories & Nominees. We have 11 categories that the public can vote in, including 2 new categories. There are 12 Special Awards that are selected by a panel from the music industry and will also be presented at the ceremony.

DJ Awards return on Monday, September 22nd at Pacha, Ibiza. Celebrating an unprecedented 17 years, this annual ceremony remains since its inception in 1998 the longest running and most faithful DJ poll.
The hotly anticipated 2014 line-up of Categories & Nominees was announced in July after months of passionate debating with hundreds of artists researched and with the guidance of a panel of electronic dance music finest, we launched the final categories and nominees and voting opened. With a record number of votes being received, voting was closed and the counting began!
This year the DJ Awards included 11 categories; Deep House, Tech House, Electro House, Techno, Trance, Drum & Bass/Dubstep, Newcomer, Electronic Live Performance and International DJ. We also introduced 2 new categories, Breakthrough and Electronica, and there are 12 Special Industry Awards, which are chosen by our selected industry panel. All these awards will be presented during the ceremony at Pacha, Ibiza.
Created back in 1998, this non profit making organization has gained the support from the electronic music scene, with past winners gracing the stage at Pacha, including Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, Carl Cox, Tiesto, Luciano, Seth Troxler, Solomun, SHM, tINI, Sven Vath, Faithless Sound System, Loco Dice, Lenny Kravitz, and Madness amongst many others.
During the past 16 years the DJ Awards has seen music trends evolve, and splinter into many different genres, this evolution will continue and just like in fashion we´ll hear familar musical beats influence and form new sounds, creating new categories. It´s an exciting industry to be in right now, and we are honoured to continue to be part of it.
The DJ Awards has become the go-to end of season ritual in Ibiza; the awards unite DJs from all over the world who come to celebrate the music they love, with their contemporaries. This year the ceremony at Pacha will be followed by a special party with the Ibiza Rocks House crew, featuring an eclectic line-up with 2manydjs, Fritz Kalkbrenner (live), Soul Clap, Doorly and Graham Sahara.
